Today we had a guest teacher, who is Rab's friend. We covered interesting stuff of American commercials during election campaign. It is about both of Obama and Mccain. One is the position from Mccain and another is from Obama. Also, what media shows to us and what it does not show(background story) is really interesting. For example, in the commercial about Mccain, it was said that he cannot even use computers and send emails in such a technologically advanced society. In reality, though, he cannot use his fingers to type because during vietnam war, he was captured and torture was undertaken. It is too horrible to say that even though it is for winning.
Besides, commercials are really tricky..It is using sad music, harsh voices, those who are weak when talking about other candicate's faults, which must give negative feeling to people. It can also be said in other way around. I think in every schools students need to learn these kind of things so that they can question and pose a moment for thinking for themselves...the goverment shall not let it though.
